Reviews
Nice local Mexican Restaurant. Waiters were extremely kind and helpful. A+. The food was really good. I had 3 steak tacos + beans and rice plate. The horchatas were really good too! The environment is really pretty and nice. Must try!!
This place was amazing,it’s small but their food and service is HUGE!!!!!me and my wife went on a Friday night and got seated right away, they also have back patio seating. They brought out some delicious chips and home made salsa,we both ordered margaritas, wifey got the mango margarita and I got the tamarindo margarita and they were on point. For food I got the mixed fajitas, chicken, steak & shrimp very very good, wifey ordered the steak fajitas and on point as well. We ordered their famous piña colada queen($25 bucks)enough for 2 people to share. I didn’t have anything bad to say about this restaurant we had a blast and definitely recommend this restaurant, the great thing about this place is we never felt rushed like some place can be. Beautiful Mexican art work all over the walls and felt very homey. Street parking only so we found a spot one block down no biggie this is the city after all so be prepared for that. The restaurant is on a one way street so if you see a parking spot just take it don’t waste time trying to find one closer because by the time you go around the block the spot will be taken.
Fresh, filling, and full of flavor! Loved how the mole sauce and the melted cheese blanketed the whole burrito! Service was a bit slower on a busy Sunday but everyone was very friendly:) salsa and free chips were also pretty good!
Steak gordita was good, the langua tacos were just OK (not bad in taste, I just prefer the langua leaner, these were pretty fatty). Horchata was yummy and the chips were fresh. Nothing to rave about but not bad.
One of my favorite Mexican spots in all of Chicago. Incredible food and amazing staff. Get the queso fundido with chorizo. Just do it.
So we went on a review from Tictok.. food was ok, not how the review said but good.. we got there at 615.. there was only a large table available for 4 or 6ppl.. they were hesitant to sit us incase a large group would come in they would need the table. She did mention that we would be moved if a smaller table was available. We agreed to be seated. Luckily, no large parties came in.. our first drink was more juice didn't taste the liquor.. the Michalada was a bit tart... we waited a bit for our food drinks and check.. over all about 4 out of 10
Service here was very welcoming food was delicious the drink I had was amazing!!! Small little Gem… but Nice music nice vibes…. They have a bigger area outside which is very convenient.. can’t wait to come back!!!!
La Catrina treated me like family when I went in. The owner is extremely helpful and kind. Service was as if I was at home, and the food here is legit! Quesabirria was my favorite, really delicious refreshing margaritas, and don’t snooze on their churros that were sweet and gooey on the inside because they were fresh.
